I wrote this on the plane early Friday morning on the way to Kansas on the back of a napkin. Then I folded it up and placed it over my heart for 2 days until we found your album. Then we knew that it should go in there.

I will never forget the day you were born. They placed you in my arms and I was in awe! You looked at me with those bright blue eyes and I fell in love. I was so crazy about you that I bored people by bragging about you so much. You were so smart! Said your first words at 5 months! Crawled at 6 months and walked at 10 months. And now you're gone and my arms are empty. But, I will never stop loving you. Nor ever forget you my sweet little girl.

Laura is my big sister. We always have been more than sisters, we are best friends. Laura has 3 boys & I have 2 girls, Laura and I have always been mothers to all five children. Her boys are the boys I never had and mine are the girls she never had so we like shared our kids. And to our kids they have always felt like they have 2 mothers. And they did. Now, she gave me her boys, for my birthday, to keep forever. I promise you Laura, I will love them and keep them safe and raise them like you wanted and made me promise you that I would. You will always be in our hearts!

We may not have spoken in a lot of years, but I will always remember those days that we grew up together. You, Mary and I were like sisters!!! I still remember pictures that we were all dressed up the same at a holiday family dinner. Those are the times that I will cherish forever.

We just met Laura and Jimmy in the last few weeks. My wife last talked to Laura a day or so before the wreck. We are deeply saddened by this accident. I guess we all need to think about buckling up when we get into our cars.

(Friend of Mother)
We didn't know Laura but I went to school with her Mother Lucy. It is a very sad time to lose a loved one and your loss effects me very personally. My beloved Mother passed away on July 19th of 2006. I am still not over losing her and so Ernie' and my hearts are heavy in feeling the loss of your family. May the lord bless your family and take Laura in his arms.

Lucy, Angie and I are heart broken!!! We remember talking many times about how our eldest shared the exact same birthday and for that reason this hits home HARD!!! I will make certain that not only my oldest but my youngest BUCKLE-UP from now on. Our love and prayers to you and yours!!!

laura was my aunt i have lived with her several times which made me and her very close even though we disagreed on alot of things i still loved her and i always will i miss her terribly

Laura is my best friend for over 35 years. My heart can't make sense of this because it could have been avoided by wearing a seatbelt. Laura will forever live in my heart. I will never forget you!
