Dear Laura,
Well, I can't talk to you on the phone anymore. So, I thought I would write you a letter. I sure do miss the sound of your voice though.I am sure that you know how things are going for everyone. But, I will tell you anyway.
I was in Kansas for 10 days early in Nov. The Aaron and Zach are doing really well in school. They are growing so fast. Aaron is turning into a young man. He is still a cuddlebug though. Zach told Mary that he was glad that he got to live with her. He said when he looks at her she reminds him of you and that makes him feel better. Brought tears to my eyes. Mary and Frank really love them so, they get lots of hugs and kisses. I will go see them as often as I can.
Brad is doing well living with Bill and me. He is fixing up the truck he has in order to sell it. He wants to get something else. The truck uses too much gas, so I think he is going to get a car. We will be here for him so don't worry. He is looking for a job and hanging out with his friends.
Barney is living here too. Who would have thought that my cats would accept a dog in "their" house. Barney has decided that I am now his person. He wants to be on my lap or right next to me all the time. He has learned how to jump/crawl up onto my bed and he sleeps with us untill Brad comes in to get him and take him to bed with him. Last night there was hardly any room for us. We had the dog and 3 cats in the bed! I have really grown to love Barney. He was yours and having him makes me feel closer to you somehow.
Grandma is going to go to Kansas to visit Mary, Frank and the kids for Christmas. They are really looking forward to her visit. She has helped buy presents for them. I will send money also.
I love you and miss you so much. Love Forever, Mom
